HOW TO GET TO BOQUETE

From Panama City

By Air – There are three daily flights to David by Aeroperlas (507-315-7500) and by Air Panama (507-315-0888). The flights take approximately one hour and costs approximately $120.00 round trip.

By Bus – There are two bus companies: Terminales David Panama (314-6228) and Padafront (314-6264). Both bus companies leave every hour to David City from the Gran Terminal Nacional de Transportes in Albrook (232-5803). The regular price is $10.60 one way. From David City Bus Terminal take a bus for $1.45 per person, one way or take a taxi for $15.00 - $20.00 all the way to Boquete.

By Car – Take the Interamericana Highway towards David City 432 kilometers (270 miles), and from David City take a right turn towards Boquete “Via Boquete” for about 38 Kilometers (24 miles) .From Panama City to Boquete it will take approximately 7 or 8 hours.

From David City:

By Bus – Take a bus for $1.45 per person, one way or take a taxi for $15.00 - $20.00 all the way to Boquete.

From the Caribbean side of Costa Rica:

Buses and taxis are readily available to Sixaola, the border town in Panama. From Sixaola take a bus or taxi to the town of Changuinola. In Changuinola go to the bus terminal and get the bus that goes to David City for the price of $8.00 per person, one way, or get a taxi for a price that starts at $80.00 all the way to Boquete (the price depends on the amount of persons).

From the Pacific side of Costa Rica:

Take a bus to David City. From David take a bus for $1.45 per person, one way or take a taxi for $15.00 - $20.00 all the way to Boquete.
